Since graduating with a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and a Masters degree in Software Development, I’ve spent the last six years working as a full-stack developer, in both front-end and back-end web development. My journey in this field has allowed me to lead and deliver large-scale projects, particularly in areas focused on improving user experience, scalability and security. In my previous role at Tektonic Labs, I led initiatives that not only enhanced application responsiveness and efficiency but also reduced costs and project timelines significantly. My role involved leveraging modern technologies like ReactJS, NodeJS and GraphQL to build robust solutions.

What attracted me to Utility Creative is the opportunity to focus on meaningful, user-driven design and technology that impacts health and education, aligning with my passion for creating digital products that improve people's lives. With Utility Creative’s commitment to innovative technology and the emphasis on user experience, I believe my skills in full-stack development, and my focus on enhancing application scalability and performance, will be a strong fit in driving the next generation of impactful digital solutions.

Working on both the front-end and back-end of web development projects gives me a comprehensive view of the entire development process. I enjoy the challenge of building seamless user experiences on the front-end while ensuring the back-end is robust, scalable, and efficient. I particularly love problem-solving - whether it's optimising APIs for better performance or improving the UI to enhance user interaction. The constant evolution of technology keeps me on my toes, allowing me to explore new tools, which I find really  rewarding. Ultimately, I thrive on the balance of creativity and logic that full-stack development offers, and seeing how my contributions positively impact the final product is incredibly satisfying.

I’ll be contributing to projects that have a direct impact on human health and wellbeing - areas that resonate deeply with me. The opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, designers and developers to build scalable, user-centric solutions excites me. I'm particularly looking forward to using the experience I’ve gained in previous roles to enhance the performance, security and usability of the websites, applications and software programs we develop. 

I'm also excited about the chance to work on large-scale projects where I can refine my skills in AI, CI/CD, automated testing and DevOps. Joining a team that values research-driven design and innovative solutions is exactly the kind of challenge that motivates me.
